With homemade, all natural margaritas…
Our bar offers margaritas and cocktails, a selection of premium tequilas with sangrita, Mexican beers and carefully selected wines, which are available by the glass.
And if you fancy something different, you may want to try our aguas frescas, literally meaning fresh fruit flavor water or horchata, a soothing rice drink.
Tequila
Tequila production is centred around the state of Jalisco. Regulations govern the production of tequila and it must contain 51% blue agave, which is double distilled. 100% blue agave tequilas will be estate bottled.
Blanco, plata or white tequila is unaged and has a strong agave taste.
Reposado, or rested tequila is aged in wood for up to 9 months.
Añejo or aged tequila is aged in wood for up to 3 years.
Casks will be of American or French oak. Some distilleries will char the inside, adding smoky flavour and colour. Sherry and bourbon casks are also used
Sangrita is a traditional chaser for tequila. We make our sangrita from fresh lime & orange juice, tomato juice, grenadine, Cool Chile Co habanero hot sauce and salt.
All our tequila is 100% blue agave,
25ml, served with sangrita on the side, 38% by volume unless otherwise stated
